Question:My unit has expired outside office hours (Friday evening).
                   Who do I contact to get it enabled ASAP?

Answer: Outside office hours you can either:

1. Call our office in Norway (Tel: +47 2150 1400) and you will be redirected to our     Network Control center (NCC).
2. Call or NCC direct (Tel: +61 89 3225295)

The NCC operates 24/7 and can do emergency activations (subscriptions) for 3 days, for example to cover the weekend.

The only information the NCC requires is:
§ Vessel Name
§ Serial number of the unit
§ Satellite being used by the SeaSTAR unit (for example EASAT)

After the weekend, take contact with your Fugro SeaSTAR key account manager to extend the subscription according to your requirement.

Question: Why does my receiver say “FREQ SEARCH” “ SWEEPING” ?
Answer: Your system is incorrectly configured; the three possible causes are:

1. You are on the wrong uplink for the area you are working; refer to the coverage diagrams

2. the DGPS antenna is obstructed (are you in a built up area, is the DGPS antenna obstructed by any other big antennas)

3. there is a faulty connection, check all cabling and connections between the antenna and DGPS receiver
